A hands on massage which movements warm up the muscle tissue, releasing tension and gradually breaking up muscle knots or adhered tissues. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness in addition to promoting relaxation.
Deep Tissue Massage
Focusing on realigning deeper layers of muscles and tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. When muscles are stressed they inhibit blood flow, impeding the distribution of oxygen and nutrients around the body. As a result toxins build up in the muscle and they become inflamed. A deep tissue massage helps loosen muscle tissues. The purpose is to ‘unstick’ muscle fibres in order to release tension, remove toxins and relax and sooth the muscles. This enables blood to circulate properly, releasing toxins from the muscles. Deep Tissue massage is performed on specific areas of the body which require attention (rather than a full body massage).
How Audio-sonic Therapy Works
Audio-sonic Therapy generates soundwaves which creates a resonance effect across a wide spectrum of body tissue. Audio-sonic pulses are conducted through lymph and spinal fluids, cartilage, muscle tissue and bone with significant therapeutic consequences, reaching up to 60mm down into body tissue. When intrasonic sound waves reach the molecules, which make up the cells of human tissue, each molecule absorbs a small amount of energy and then passes the wave on to the next molecule. This ripple effect continues until all the waves energy has been absorbed.
Audio-sonic Massage can be performed on its own or in conjunction with manual massage.

How does this improve my health?
Increases blood circulation and cell metabolism, which improves skin colour and transports nutrients and oxygen to the skin’s cells and muscles.
The oscillation, or resonance, of the molecule causes alternating compression and relaxation of the cell. It is, in effect, a form of massage at a cellular level deep within the tissue undergoing the treatment. When the cell is compressed it loses some of its fluid, usually containing waste products and toxins. As the pressure relaxes fresh nutrients are drawn into the cell which starts the therapeutic healing process. Hormones within the tissue are also stimulated by this oscillation effect and they will improve blood flow to the area for many hours.
